To celebrate the launch of STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town Marvelous Europe Limited are proud to unveil the launch trailer which showcases the life of three different farmers and represents the numerous ways that people can enjoy the game.
The launch of STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town helps celebrate 25 years of the Bokujo Monogatari franchise in Japan, previously known as Harvest Moon in the west, with its fresh perspective on the farming and lifestyle simulation genre, while remaining true to the original experience that fans have enjoyed for more than two decades.
In STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town players will enjoy a new world filled with exploration, romance, and of course farming, as you work to restore your grandfather’s land to its former glory. Players can also take a break from the life of a farmer to reshape the untamed wilderness, discover new animals and personalise their new home with a level of customisation never-before-seen in the series.
STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town is available physically as a Standard Edition, with an SRP of £44.99 / €49.99 / $79.95 AUD, and as a Deluxe Edition, with an SRP of £54.99 / €59.99. The Deluxe Edition contains a copy of the standard game, 10 marriage candidate trading cards, an A5 Notebook and a poster featuring exclusive artwork from the series artist, Igusa Matsuyama. STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town is also available digitally from the Nintendo eShop as a standard digital edition for £44.99 / €49.99 / $79.95 AUD and as a digital bundle known as the STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town + Expansion Pass Set for £62.99 / €69.99 / $109.95 AUD. The Expansion Pass further expands the world of Olive Town with additional Outfits, Sub-scenarios and Marriage Candidates.
This Expansion Pass for STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town is also available to purchase stand-alone from the Nintendo eShop for £17.99/€19.99 with a 15% launch discount being offered for the first three weeks of release. Those who purchase the Expansion Pass, either stand-alone or as part of the bundle, will also receive immediate access to three costume sets inspired by outfits from past STORY OF SEASONS games. The Fox Costume, which was previously only made available as a pre-order bonus for digital pre-orders on the Nintendo eShop, is also now available to purchase from the Nintendo eShop within Europe and Australia for £1.79 / €1.99 / $3.00 AUD. This Fox Costume is not included as part of the Expansion Pass and can only be purchased separately from the Nintendo eShop.
