Sam Brace launches new single and video for “Graceless”

London, UK – 13th December 2024 – Graceless is the second song taken from Sam Brace and The Merciless Bronze forthcoming 4-track EP and is accompanied by a video with footage taken from the debut full band live show which happened on 14th November. A link to the track and video can be found here.

Sam commented, “Graceless is about someone who is really full of themselves; maybe it’s about me being concerned that I’ve been guilty of being a bit too full of myself in the past, I don’t know... But, that kind of carrying yourself like you’re amazing, fully narcissistic but actually not having any soul or grace about you at all, kind of encapsulates the vibe of this one.”

Ex-Skinny Lister and The Alps guitar-man Sam Brace is set to launch a 4 track EP to be released on Elusive Music as a 10” Vinyl in January 2025.

Graceless Single Front Cover — Since launching debut album *Fever & Bones* and completing a short solo tour of the West Coast of USA in 2022 and early 2023, Sam has had to take some enforced time off to deal with a serious health situation. The turn of 2024 brought recovery and renewed energy, the new EP came to life and features performances from members of the new live act ***“Sam Brace and the Merciless Bronze”*** as well as long-time co-writing partner, Adam Tarry (Onein5).

“These 4 tracks all have special significance for me” commented Sam Brace. “Since coming back from dealing with my condition each one of these songs helped me to find a way through it - You don’t realise how fragile life is until something like this happens and I think it really helped me work through the mental side of illness by immersing myself completely in these new tracks. For better or worse, I’ve mixed and produced all the songs myself for the first time and I’m really proud of each one, this is one of the reasons why there’s not a title track, I think each song stands on its own. I really hope folks will like them as much as I do!”

The forthcoming 4 tracks will be released digitally one at a time on Elusive Music forming an EP that will be released on Vinyl in January 2025. Sam feels that We Go High, Collide, Diesel and Graceless are the best tracks he has yet produced and is excited to take them (as well as album 1) on the road in 2025. The new EP was also mixed and produced by Sam with mastering duties performed by album 1 producer, Ed Ripley at Rare Tone Studios in UK.

The new band (The Merciless Bronze) are formed of Thessalonki based musicians who Sam has met (and indoctrinated) while watching local bands in town. They are:
