PLAYRISE DIGITAL WINS 'BEST START-UP' AT THE 2013 TIGA AWARDS
AS DEBUT TITLE ‘TABLE TOP RACING’ SURPASSES 2 MILLION DOWNLOADS
Liverpool, 7th November, 2013 – Indie game developer and publisher, Playrise Digital, won the 'Best Start-Up' category at the prestigious TIGA (trade association representing the UK’s games industry) Awards last night as it’s flagship title, 'Table Top Racing' smashed through the two million download milestone. Table Top Racing has been a Top 10 game in 50 countries and has over one million players on Game Center.
It’s been a hugely successful year for Playrise with ‘Table Top Racing’ and the company itself also being nominated for numerous other awards including:
TIGA Awards 2013 – Winner of Best Start-Up and shortlisted for Best Game
Big Chip Awards 2013 – Best Mobile Game and winning the "Highly Commended" award in Best Start-Up
Mobile Entertainment Awards 2013 – Best Publisher
Meffy’s 2013 – Best Game
Indie Game Developer Awards 2013 – Best Indie Game Developer
